PROJECT MANAGER CARBON ACCOUNTING (FIXED CONTRACT, FULL-TIME)

Mantis Consulting is a young and ambitious study and consulting firm that aims to make sustainability accessible to all organisations. Sustainability requirements evolve rapidly, so we strive for innovative and quantifiable solutions, and customized implementations. We carry out projects for, and with, clients in the public-private sector (companies, governments, universities, NGOs, etc.).

We are looking for people who share our passion to make sustainability practical, concrete and measurable so that companies are ready for a future in a rapidly changing environment.

• Your main activity is the project management of research projects and study work on carbon accounting together with the team members of an existing project consortium. You provide technical input and keep the overview.

• You work on climate projects and engage with concepts such as carbon accounting and life cycle analysis

• You translate know-how into concrete solutions for companies.

• You are jointly responsible for the development of the carbon accounting business line.

• You have a Master's degree in engineering or exact sciences, or similar competences through experience.

• You have a strong interest in climate issues and knowledge of carbon budgeting.

• You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience. Experience in project management is a plus.

• You like to work in a team and achieve objectives together.

• You express yourself fluently in Dutch or English, both orally and in writing (in the context of international projects and clients).

• You are entrepreneurial and analytical.

• You get a full-time contract of indefinite duration (part-time is negotiable).

• You can count on a competitive salary, supplemented with benefits (meal vouchers, teleworking allowance - if applicable, ecocheques, cell phone and subscription). You are entitled to 12 working time reduction days based on a 40h working week.

• You will work in Ghent where you will have a full-time workplace that is easily accessible by public transport. Flexible working hours and working from home are possible.
